I take the chaos out of your finances.
That means gathering, organizing, and analyzing the numbers so you and your legal team have a complete, accurate picture, without you having to become a financial detective in the middle of a life crisis.
I don’t give legal or tax advice but I do make sure the financial side of your case is well communicated and easy for you to understand and for your attorney to present.
No. My role is to provide objective, accurate financial analysis.
If I’m hired by your spouse, my work focuses on ensuring their financial position is clear - but that doesn’t mean I distort the truth or “work against” you.
My credibility depends on accuracy, not taking sides.
If I testify in court, my job is to present facts the judge can rely on, regardless of who hired me.
Because divorce, especially high-conflict or financially complex divorce, isn’t just legal. It’s emotional, logistical, and deeply financial.
I bring 20+ years of experience in corporate finance and investor relations, and I’m trained to uncover, organize, and properly value financial assets, including those that are often overlooked or intentionally hidden.
That work alone can dramatically increase the final settlement amount. I combine financial strategy with emotional clarity, so you’re never navigating this alone.
I focus on complex financial situations - especially those that can overwhelm or outmaneuver someone without expert support.
My specialty areas include:
Executive compensation – including stock options, RSUs, ESPPs, deferred comp, and bonus structures
Real estate – personal and investment property valuation, transaction analysis, and tracing ownership or proceeds
Financial tracing & lifestyle analysis – identifying patterns in spending, transfers, and cash flow to clarify true income and financial behavior
Hidden asset detection – uncovering concealed accounts, business interests, or irregular activity
Public company financials & disclosures – I’ve worked with SEC filings, investor communications, and complex ownership structures - useful when your spouse is a high-level executive or owns equity in a public or private company
If your case involves unusual assets, business interests, or compensation plans most people don’t understand, I bring clarity, structure, and the ability to explain it all in court if needed.
Family law attorneys are legal experts - but most aren’t financial specialists. I am.
Your attorney relies on you to bring the numbers, documents, and insight. That’s where I come in. Unlike lawyers, coaches, or traditional financial advisors, I help you uncover hidden assets, analyze statements, and organize your financial life - so your legal team has what they need to build the strongest case possible.
And the best part? I typically cost less than an attorney - and the work I do often pays for itself by helping you recoup far more than you would otherwise.
While divorce is often the starting point for many of my clients, it’s far from the only life transition I support. Clarity is here for any major shift — whether you're rebuilding after a loss, navigating an inheritance or financial windfall, leaving the nest, or facing a unique situation that requires guidance. Whatever you’re going through, I provide the tools, structure, and support to help you move forward into your new life.
No. While I specialize in high-conflict and financially complex cases, I also support amicable divorces, collaborative processes, and uncontested situations. Even in peaceful splits, there can be a lot to organize - assets to divide, budgets to revise, and futures to plan. I bring clarity, efficiency, and structure to all types of divorces, so nothing important slips through the cracks.
Yes. If needed, I can serve as an expert witness to present financial evidence in a clear, objective, and compelling way. I focus on facts, not sides, and my testimony is always grounded in thorough analysis and documentation.
The earlier, the better.
Starting early gives us more time to gather documents, identify financial patterns, and prepare you thoroughly - so you’re not left scrambling or forced to make assumptions later.
Whether you’re considering leaving, have already filed, or are trying to rebuild, I can meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence.
Yes. I offer a complimentary 45-minute consultation so we can talk through your situation, make sure it’s a good fit, and discuss next steps.
There's no pressure - just clarity on how I might help.
I charge $200 per hour, with a $2,000 retainer due upfront. That retainer covers the first 10 hours of work.
For most standard cases, 10 hours is enough to provide meaningful guidance and a solid financial foundation. In high-conflict or complex situations, especially those involving hidden assets, business ownership, or financial abuse, 20+ hours may be needed.
I’ll always be transparent about scope and progress as we go.
Many clients move between service types depending on where they are in the process. You might begin with guidance, shift into partnership during negotiations, and need empowering support as you take next steps. My services are designed to meet you where you are—and evolve with you as your needs change.
Think of this as an investment in clarity, protection, and long-term security. The work I do of uncovering and properly valuing assets, preparing for legal and financial negotiations, and supporting you through critical decisions can significantly impact your final outcome.
I primarily work with clients remotely, which allows for flexible scheduling and secure, convenient document sharing.
If you're local to the Denver or Colorado Springs area, we may be able to arrange in-person meetings when needed... I just hope you like boxer dogs!
I’m here to complement your legal team, not replace them.
I can help by:
Preparing clear, organized financial summaries
Identifying red flags or inconsistencies
Assisting with financial disclosures
Ensuring no asset or expense is overlooked
If needed, I can communicate directly with your attorney to save you time, reduce stress, and keep things moving. I can also help you prepare for mediation - or even testify in court when appropriate.
My goal is to make sure your legal team has the financial clarity they need to advocate for you effectively.
If you already have an advisor, I’ll coordinate with them to ensure your evolving financial plan reflects your new reality. If you don’t, I’ll help you get organized now so you’re in a strong position to hand things off to a financial advisor when you're ready.
You can securely upload your documents through a private, secure online folder I’ll create just for you. I’ll guide you through retrieving statements, transaction history, or other key financial information - in whatever format feels most comfortable and accessible for you.
In the future, I plan to offer software that lets you connect your accounts directly, using trusted tools with clear boundaries to protect your privacy and keep everything organized.
Your privacy and security are always my top priority.
That’s great. I often work alongside financial advisors, CPAs, and accountants. My role is to support your legal case and your transition - not to replace your existing relationships. I’m happy to collaborate with your team to make sure everything is aligned.
That’s fine!
Many clients come to me early in the process, just to get their bearings. Whether you’re thinking about leaving a relationship, already in the middle of a divorce, or dealing with the aftermath, I’m here when you’re ready.
